Quick answer
We take roofing calls from across Raleigh in north Memphis, a short drive from our office on Memphis Arlington Rd. Visits start with an inspection and photos. We repair leaks and storm damage and replace roofs that have worn out. Call any hour to set it up.
Raleigh's neighborhoods filled in mostly between the 1950s and 1970s, with brick ranches, carports and treed lots. Many of those homes are now on their second or third roof, and some carry patches from earlier storms.
We walk every slope, check the flashing at chimneys and walls, and photograph what we find. The written scope tells you what needs doing now and what can wait.
Local context
Raleigh's long history
Raleigh was first settled in 1816 and served as the Shelby County seat from 1824 to 1866. The town gave up its charter in 1912, and Memphis annexed Raleigh on January 1, 1973, with the northern part following in 2005. Most of the homes we roof here went up during the years in between, as Raleigh grew from a small town into a suburb and then into part of the city.
What roofs here go through
What Raleigh roofs go through
Brick ranches with long rooflines take full sun and wind, so shingles on the south and west slopes wear first and ridge caps lift in storms.
Carports and porch roofs at lower pitch, common on homes of this era, need sound flashing where they meet the main roof, or water finds the joint.
