Service area

Roofing across Memphis and the Shelby County suburbs

We work from an office on Memphis Arlington Rd in the northeast of the city and cover Memphis and the suburbs around it. Here is what that coverage looks like, part by part.

Coverage

Memphis and the rest of Shelby County

Our coverage is Memphis and the rest of Shelby County. That is deliberate: a roofer based close to your street is easier to get back on the roof when the second storm of the week arrives, and easier to reach for the small follow-up jobs that keep a roof healthy.

Each part of the county has its own housing, and the roofs look different in each. The regions below describe the houses and roof types we work on in each one, from historic Midtown to the newer suburbs.

The northeast suburbs near our office

Our office sits on Memphis Arlington Rd, which puts Bartlett, Cordova, Arlington and Lakeland a short drive away. Bartlett is mostly single-family housing, much of it ranch-style, with long, low roofs and plenty of fascia and gutter to look after. Cordova mixes Craftsman and Neocolonial houses with 1990s and early-2000s subdivisions whose roofs are reaching the end of their life, so replacement conversations are common there. Arlington and Lakeland are permitted through the same county office as Memphis.

The historic core and Downtown

Midtown holds several National Register districts, Central Gardens and Annesdale among them, with houses built mostly between 1900 and 1930. Those steep roofs, chimneys and dormers call for careful flashing and shingle matching, and Central Gardens is a locally protected Historic Overlay District. Downtown is mostly flat commercial roofs, where the work is membranes, drains and seams. East Memphis mixes ranch homes with mid-century modern houses, some with flat roofs that need membrane instead of shingles.

The southeast suburbs

Germantown and Collierville sit southeast of the city. Germantown adds its own footing and foundation permit for new houses, which matters when we roof new construction or an addition there. During the August 2026 storms, one of the tracked storm cells passed near Collierville, a reminder that the suburbs take the same straight-line wind as the city, and roofs there are worth a look after any big line of storms.

North of the city

Millington, to the north, is permitted and inspected through the same county Construction Enforcement office as Memphis. A September 2026 severe thunderstorm watch named it alongside Bartlett among the places expecting hail and wind damage to roofs, so storm and hail inspections matter there as much as anywhere in the county.

Beyond Shelby County

Past Memphis and the rest of Shelby County, we take calls from four neighboring counties: DeSoto County in Mississippi, Fayette County and Tipton County in Tennessee, and Crittenden County across the river in Arkansas. Each has its own page below with the local details that matter for roofs there.

For an address further out than that, call first and we will tell you plainly whether we can take the job. We would rather say no up front than leave you waiting on a roofer who is too far away to come back quickly.
